Matt Hammond (that's me) is an accomplished web developer and marketer devoted to living a lifestyle supported by the web. In addition to expert SEO skills, website development, and other computer-centric professional skills, I have developed a number of self-owned and operated web properties that express my general interests and passion for the Internet. In the real world, I enjoy surfing, basketball, playing guitar, and spending time with my beautiful girl-friend and charismatic wiener dog.
I was bork in Sacramento, California on January 23, 1979 to Richard Hammond and Patricia Hedge. Before I could remember anything, we moved to Boston and then to Mill Valley, California where I spend my entire childhood until I left for college at the age of 18. Granted, I only jumped over the Bay to Berkeley, but it was far enough to get some distance from the boredom of small town life, and gave me great access to surf in both Marin and San Francisco.
I played lacrosse in college, and in 1998 was fortunate enough to play for the Men's Club League National Championship team, and enjoyed many successful seasons thereafter. In 1999 I took a break from college to start my first internet company; TeenConnect.com. Once the internet bubble burst in April 2001, I decided to return to college, and settled on majoring in Anthropology. |
